faith is like swimming. if you struggle, you'll sink. if you rest, you'll float. when you pray, dont beg or struggle... simply trust. thats how faith works.

"one thing worse than a quitter is the person who is afraid to begin." ...doing your best is more important than being the best.

There are two types of people:
those who come into a roo and say, "well, here i am."
and those who come in and say, "ah, there you are.."
makes sense.

Seven.

A child asked his father: "why do i need to be humble?"

then the father said: "when you choose the lowly path, there is no place to fall and the only way is up."

ang kaibigan, hindi tulad ng pera, na pinagpapalit sa materyal na bagay.. hindi rin lagi may sukli.. pero alam mo ba ang pagkakatulad nila? simple lang.. kapag 'fake'.. walang halaga.

Five.

i'm not like the rain that just pours on you and then goes. im more like the air, sometimes keeping quiet but is always there..constantly hanging around.

Three.

the worst regret we can have in life is not for the wrong things we did, but for the right things we could have done, but we never did.

We are not supposed to always understand why certain things happen. we dont have to always know the reasons why God allows some things to take place. all that is asked from us is to trust Him completely and let Him be in control. God will never fail us. not now. not ever.

God will meet us where we are. He can be very tender to you if you need an embrace. He can be firm to you if you need some spanking. He can be terribly awesome when you need a miracle. He can be painfully quiet when He wants you to trust Him. He will be what you need Him to be. What do you really need right now? believe me, He knows about it more than you do. so let Him meet you where you are and let Him love you, right there.

God knows what’s best for us, so why should we complain. We always want the sunshine but He knows there must be rain. We love the sound of laughter and the merriment of cheer. But our hearts will lose their tenderness if we never shed a tear. God tests us not to punish us but to help us meet tomorrow. So whenever we are in trouble and everything goes wrong, it’s just God working on us to make our spirit strong.
